He employs workers and trains them in sustainable, on-site, value-added production activities that generate income while contributing to the management of the forest. The area has a dry, tropical, woodland system, because of this the tree growth is very slow. Making for unique wood quality.

Because it is tropical, the range of trees is incredibly diverse.
